ABOUT US

What We Do

B&R/AMW has four departments to handle diverse coverage needs: Casualty, Property, Executive Liability, and Underwriting.  The underwriting team represents a variety of admitted and non admitted carriers (all A.M. Best Rated A or better) that can quote, bind and issue monoline casualty, property, packages and inland marine policies.  Our brokerage teams possess broad market access, specific expertise and in-depth product knowledge.  They all know the rates, policy forms and major players for their particular product lines.

About the Merger - Open Letter from the Chairman and Managing Director

You should expect more from your wholesale insurance partners.  You should know the status of every submission you make, who is representing you in the market, and what your coverage and price options are at all times.  That's what we believe, and that's why we merged our companies.

Brown & Riding and Alexander Morford & Woo have long histories of success as individual companies, but we merged our companies because we share common values and beliefs.  We envision an industry where expertise, open collaboration, and thoughtfulness are expected and delivered... every day... on every deal.

The insurance industry as a whole isn't there yet, but we are.  We relentlessly set new standards of excellence, value, and fairness and never lose sight of your needs.  We consistently achieve win-win results for our clients and markets and have earned a nationwide reputation as the preferred independent wholesale brokerage firm to work with.

Why you should call us:

There's nothing like experience, and we want you to experience what it's like to work with us.  Mergers and aquisitions in the market are commonplace, but this merger is different.  Everything we do is focused on giving you:

     •  More control over the process

     •  Intelligent and aggressive advocacy

     •  The most talented teams

People count.  Beliefs count.  You count.

Sometimes it's hard to separate marketing speak from the "real deal."  As the co-chairmen of our new company we invite your questions, ideas, and insights on how we can transform the wholesale industry together.  Call, email, or visit us any time, and let us show you why you can and should expect more from your wholesale insurance partners.

Best,

Sam Alexander, Managing Director
Chris Brown, Chairman
