Sam Alexander

Director of Company Operations

Sam Alexander is Director of Company Operations and one of the three co-founders of Alexander, Morford & Woo, Inc.  In addition to his executive duties, Sam managed the firm’s Casualty Department from its inception in 1995 until January 2002.  Sam has been recognized throughout the industry for creating innovative products and policy forms as new exposures arose.  His fascination with both technology and insurance policy language placed him at the forefront when addressing the new exposures of E-commerce and technology businesses in the late 1990’s.

Sam's background includes working as underwriter, broker, reinsurance intermediary, consultant, and expert witness.  He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  A former U.S. National Champion freefall team member, Sam enjoys horseback riding, flying, running, downhill skiing and backpacking.
