Alexander Morford & Woo

In February 1995 three industry veterans with diverse backgrounds and a common vision combined to form Alexander Morford & Woo (AMW).  This new venture brought together the talents of Sam Alexander, an expert in casualty brokerage lines; Rick Morford, a leading specialist in Director's & Officer's and Executive Liability coverages; and Larry Woo, an authority on difficult and unusual property placements.

A Strategic Combination

The Brown & Riding and AMW merger became effective January 1, 2011. The blending of the two companies capitalizes on the complementary strengths of both organizations.  The combined company incorporates the leadership, expertise, and infrastructure of both companies, and it positions the organization to take advantage of opportunities in more product lines and geographic areas than either firm was able to realize previously.

Brown & Riding/AMW employees own 100% of our company, and we are committed to remaining independent.  This means that we're in it for the long haul, and there are no conflicting interests about what business we are in or whose interests we serve.  We answer to you and to our own high standards.
