Rick Morford
Director of Business Development
Rick Morford is the Director of Business Development for Alexander Morford & Woo, Inc. He is a company co-founder and previously managed the Washington office’s Executive Liability Department. In addition to his current managerial duties, he continues to handle Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) liability insurance and other executive liability products. He began his insurance career in 1980, and his resume runs the gamut: he has worked as an underwriter, retail broker and wholesaler. His expertise is well sought after in placing D&O coverage for banks and public companies as well as for private companies as they navigate the IPO process. Additionally, he has handled complex securities claims as both broker and expert witness.Past co-chair of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) Northwest Chapter and past President of the Surety Association of Oregon, Rick graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. An avid fisherman and golfer, Rick also plays a mean game of poker.
